At this time, only GAs (Guest Artists), PAs (Permanent Artists), and staff members can make adopts. However, you can offer customs to people! Just make sure you or the commissioner have the respective MYOs and items.

You cannot, no! Please submit to one prompt or the other, and instead attached both characters to the piece upon submission.

You can still convert your own Jelliwillows, given you gather the proper resources! We limit it to 5 free ones at the most to avoid someone buying a lot of Jelliwillows, and converting say, 20 at once. We set this limit to ensure that individuals who do not own any Jelliwillows are not put at an unfair advantage.

If you do choose to convert your own Jelliwillows, please let us know! We will still need link their old Jelliwillow profile in the masterlist description.

You can recieve up to 5 free Conversion MYOs, depending on how many Willows you own! If you own 0, you can recieve 5, for example. However, if you own 3 Willows, then you can only get 2 free ones.

No, not at all! If you wish to use both the Jelliwillow and Willow form interchangeably, you're more than welcome to. You can also make either one an AU if you please.

However, we recommend you keep both forms together on Toyhou.se, as they're still the same character!

Yes! Just keep in mind that some hybrids may translate better than others, but we as staff will do our best to tailor them to fit the original design when giving you traits for your Conversion MYO!

Yes, absolutely! Although not required, we do encourage you to have design WIPs checked by staff (in our Discord, in #design-help), especially if someone not in the species/community is designing it. That way, the artist doesn't have to make edits on the final piece, incase they're not approved for any reason!

Yes! The following traits are required for all subspecies, with a few exceptions:

• Four (4) claws
• Two (2) chymojewels; one on their chest and one at the tip of their tails.
• Forked tongue
• Horns (unless you have the No Horns mutation trait)
• Ears (unless you have the No Ears genetic mutation trait)
  • Arroyos can have no ears as a rare trait instead, exclusive only to their subspecies!
• Tail (unless you have the No Tail mutation trait)

Companions can only use colors in the Bark Colors category! However, you can use multiple colors from Bark Colors, along with any patterns, without needing any items!

Colors CANNOT be added from Root Colors, Canopy Colors, or Stripped Colors categories, unless they are linked to a Willow! This is because companions do not have enough chymos in their bodies to manifest a wide color range like Willows can, without a Willow by their side.

We do allow CBCs (character-based characters)! However, Willows designed in this way must not be one to one copies of the media they're inspired from. They will also always have a masterlist value of $0.00, and cannot be sold under any circumstances, only gifted or traded.

Companions can use any texture on the masterlist, since they're untraited.

• Example 1: You could make the tongue plated, while their other chymos is fuzzy.
• Example 2: You could use bioluminescence, which would cause the jewel, paw pads, and tongue to glow.

Willows with multiple textures can texture the jewel as well. 

• Example: You could make just the jewel glow, while being smooth instead otherwise.

Jewels are treated the same as regular Chymos, but the general consensus is that they'd have to retain a concrete shape, meaning you could also use any texture for them as well.
