General Overview

Grubbies wiggly little grub-like creatures. They tend to burrow and dig up dirt, causing them to be a bit of a nuisance to farmers. A group of Grubbies is called a "Clew". Due to them reproducing in snow, during the winter season, they're known to shovel walkways for people. This makes them friends.

Yes, that's right, they reproduce in snow: A few Grubbies will come together to gather a whole bunch of snow, sticks, and other things, and by their sheer willpower alone, they'll create a new Grubby, all on their own. This ritual can be done by 1 to 4 Grubbies, and somehow they take the traits of their creators. We call this "snowmanning". But, scarily, this process can also be done by Willows. Thankfully, only seemingly worthy Willows can, making their status Riddle free.

Once Winter ends, they melt away, but they return the next year maybe a small bit different but with the same personality and memories. Some rumour that their willpower embeds into the soil, making them immoral creatures in writing. They're often seen as a figure of life!

In captivity, their genuine lifespan without the introduction of heat is about 12 years. It's understood that during the Ice Age, they owned the lands of Willanova. Though they can actually live their full lifespan in some situations on Blissful Mountain, their origins are in Sulow Grove. Most Willows don't like to disturb their spiritual cycle.

Appearance

Grubbies are segmented creatures with three toes and rabbit-like ears. They have dots across the sides of their segmented bodies called "buttons", usually made out of a coal-like substance. They have pointed noses and stick tails.

Grubbies have many different traits and combinations that is seems hard to find them all! Scientists have no idea why exactly they have so many ways of looking, but most believe it's due to their hand-crafted ritual.

They have a natural set of pants to keep their vitals warm.

Furthermore, it's been reported that they can take on the chymos color(s) and chymojewel of a Willow they are linked to, while retaining their fur color and patterns (read more about how to do, here).
